Observing Users: Museum of Science & Industry - My team explored informal learning at the Museum of Science & Industry. We used a variety of observation techniques to understand the museum visitor's experience. Where passive observations and immersion provided us with good preliminary insight into visitors' experiences, we also conducted more focused examinations using shadowing, interviews and interactive games with some visitors. We found that emotional connections and interactivity sparked the richest engagement.
