Maloca - Brazilian bar table

This line of bar tables and chairs try to fit the “carioca way of eat and drink” demand for a furniture design competition.
Most of bar tables are round or square, so we designed a table from a triangle. Than we used the classic Copacabana’s petit pave organic lines and contrasting colors.
The main idea is that the Maloca tables can be arranged in different ways, serving a couple that want to stay close while enjoying the view, but also growing as more friends come over, addressing the hospitality and socialization characteristics of the people from Rio.
