Ian Gilley

I am a graduate of the Rhode Island School of Design with a Bachelor of Fine Arts and a Bachelor of Industrial Design Degrees as well as studying mechanical engineering at The University of Rhode Island. I also am a holder of two United States patents on work developed for Rhode Gear and Bell Sports. I Have designed and manufactured a line of full suspension mountain bikes, distributed by Performance Bicycle. With 22 years of experience as a senior designer my spirit of invention coupled with the ability to rapidly conceptualize and develop ideas enables the design process to evolve quickly. With an understanding of manufacturing processes and a strong sense of engineering I can respond creatively to the demands of production resulting in profitable innovative solutions.
