I'm mostly drawn to the visual side of things - whether it happens to be as small as an icon, logo or subtle animation, or as large as an interactive 3D projection mapping show, I appreciate design in print, web, mobile and interactive work. My interests are primarily geared towards visual design, interaction and user experience, and I'm fascinated by how motion, color and space put us in touch with the digital world.
I'm currently pursuing a Master's in Digital Media at Georgia Tech, a place where visual communication, human interaction, and the social potential of emerging technologies converge. Offered by the Digital Media program within the School of Literature, Media and Communications, this degree offers arts- and humanities-based advanced study in digital media design and critique. Faculty include leading theorists and practitioners who approach the design of digital artifacts as a defining creative and intellectual challenge of the 21st century, comparable in its cultural complexity and historical importance to the inventions of the book, the photograph, and the moving image.
I've so far had the chance to work on diverse fields such as Embodied Interaction, Game Design, Augmented Reality and Projection Mapping, and the opportunity to collaborate with the very people whose work helped me develop an interest in the field.
I'm self-motivated, enthusiastic and a versatile interaction designer currently seeking a full time position in the field of visual design, interaction and user experience, where I'd be able to leverage and develop my skills in design and technology to produce novel, engaging and intuitive digital experiences. Specialties include visual design, UI/UX design, branding, low and high-fidelity prototyping, rapid prototyping and storyboarding.
