Assist CL by Laundry head shoe designer/line builder and brand manager, assist with seasonal design concepts, study markets to establish trends, produce clear and detailed sketches, create technical packages with specs and materials to overseas development teams, work with Microsoft Office/AS400 systems, create prototype and sample requests, name shoe styles for line and customers, keep track of all samples, follow up with China on sample arrivals, review line sheets before major shoe shows, and work with sales reps, sample, purchasing and customer service departments.

Design Assistant- Juniors Apparel

Assisted head juniors designer, created fabric dye cards for dye house, created cut tickets for cutters, worked with Garment Base Pro, completed purchase orders, organized department trims for designers/pattern makers, organized pattern cards, tech packs and cut tickets, finished (some hand sewing) sample garments, photocopied garments for upcoming seasons.

Theater Costume Shop Design Assistant

Worked with head designers, assisted with several productions-focusing on "Eurydice" by Sarah Ruhl, alterations, fabric dyeing, costume sewing construction using industrial machines, created theater props, assisted in costume fittings/took notes on fit, and attended rehearsals with production crew.

Design Assistant- Organic Apparel

Assisted head designer and owners, organized collection and color swatches from look book, assisted with processing shipment to vendors.

Design Assistant- Denim

Assisted technical designer in denim fittings, measured denim fit samples, produced Excel measurement spreadsheets, organized new collections based on look book.
