Fashion Designer with over 12 years experience in garment manufacturing, specializing in sportswear, lingerie, sleepwear, plus-size, and engineered prints.

Primary strength: design/collection development, execution, and follow-through with vendors. Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills (a near photographic memory helps!). Effective multi-tasker at ease working independently and within a team environment.

I have a genuine LOVE for this industry. I delight in all the tasks (big and small) and activities needed to bring a line together: trend research; shopping the stores; creating tech packs; sketching/recoloring/retouching in Photoshop using my Wacom tablet; working with colleagues in patternmaking, sales, production, samplemaking.

I revel getting in the weeds of garment construction and optimizing profits/cost for bulk production. I appreciate a good pattern/design and love it even more good design is married to low cost!

I believe fashion design is a business, a profitable one, when done right.
