• Teaching classes in Photoshop, InDesign, QuarkXpress, Digital design/typography and History of Graphic Design.

This was a contract position doing art production, design, layout and proofing of new and redesigned labels for various Abbott products, such as Ensure, Enlive, Polycose, etc. I used Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and Acrobat along with many other graphics programs such as CadMover and Digital Page. I assured Abbott branding, colors, & fonts were used correctly as well as ingredient and legal information.

Created art and layouts for a variety of packaging styles. Used Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Microsoft excel, and various scanning software.

In this position I was responsible for cleaning up existing art for printing and creating new designs and art for customers’ products. I typically would scan customers’ existing art and re-create a nicer version of it in Adobe Illustrator or Photoshop. If a customer was looking for new art I would create it from sketches or idea roughs.
