Heather Hansma

As PPI's in-house graphic designer, I am in charge of the identity system for the company. I create the reports that are presented to our clients, as well as other design work as the company requires including event branding and editorial illustrations of business concepts. Additional responsibilities include: project manager for website redesign, and project lead on our new development of online tutorial videos for clients.

Editorial illustration, portraits, and gallery art. My work has been featured in Metro Times, Real Detroit Weekly, Between the Lines, Metro Parent, and Detroiter magazine. Some galleries that I have shown in are 323 East, LIFT, OhNo!Doom, InsideOut, 5e Gallery, Starkweather Arts Center, and Rivers Edge Gallery.

This was a temporary position I took on to assist the Gallery Director in improving SAC over the long term. I revamped the artist contracts and the inventory system to make it easier to document sales and pay the artists. I also brought in new artists to the gallery, created window and interior displays, and general merchandising of the shop.
