SoHo, Bangkok - Starbucks
Starbucks SoHo is an elevated core store in Bangkok, Thailand. This free standing building is a replica of a traditional Thai home, complete with rich wood details and encaustic cement tile floor. The challenge of this space was to respect the existing architecture and maintain the integrity of the space by not adding unnecessary layers. Singular, broad gestures of large scale art and wall paper add a modern touch. - April 2013
