Day to day responsibilities: Supporting a qualified engineering who was responsible for a confidential product area, with the execution of numerous projects. Smaller projected I headed up with his support. The larger projects, I shadowed the engineer, gaining excellent exposure to all aspect of the project cycle. Producing detailed layout drawings for customers relative to their individual projects. Full administrative support, emails, talking with customers by telephone, chasing stock via internal departments and resolving issues. Taking calls from contractors relating to orders and sourcing answers for them, progressing orders and problem solving. Shadowed managers undertaking their day-to-day responsibilities while studying for Level 3 Diploma in Management with the CMI in order to put theory into practice. Attended meetings in the USA with the CEO, which involved finance meetings, site tours and company presentations.
