About
A Product Design Undergraduate in my second year at Bournemouth University, currently seeking a placement for July 2015 onward.
I am competent with CAD packages which includes SolidWorks and SketchUp as well as Photoshop, AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.
In any project I undertake, the importance of conveying the design story to the client is paramount and so being able to produce an idea with just pen and paper is a skill I look to constantly improve.
During my course so far I have taken units in mechanical and physics principles, materials and how they are processed as well as practical workshop skills to create accurate prototypes.
I am always looking to expand my skill set and open to all experience in the areas of product design and engineering. -

Waterfront StaffCamp Echo LakeWarrensburg, NYJun 2014 - Aug 2014 (2 months)For the summer of 2014 I worked at a 7 week summer camp in Warrensburg, upstate New York.
I was specifically hired to be part of waterfront staff which involved forecasting 7 weeks of morning swimming lessons for ages 9-12 years old, running special club activities and organising inter-camp swim competitions as well as life-guarding both the outdoor pool and lake.
Outside the day time activity hours I was a camp counselor for a specific group of campers. Greater responsibility and attention for individual matters had to be taken into account, such as making sure medical requirements were adhered to, their living space was clean, meal times were attended and that the campers were having fun and getting involved. -
Junior Designer (Work Experience)NokiaBristol, United KingdomAug 2013 - Aug 2013I was shadowing and part of the design team for Nokia Music.
During my 1 week work experience I got to help evaluate some icons for Nokia's new music app and also worked with the ergonomics team as they evaluated their music app with clients.
