Outstanding attention to detail and overall quality. I am a talented Industrial Designer and model maker who has worked in the field since 2004
I have been responsible for the complete work flow of developing products from concept to product. I can create 3d computer models, draftings, instruction books, and functional physical prototypes with outstanding accuracy and detail.
My extensive experience in model making and manufacturing give me the edge to find creative cost saving solutions for designs. I have worked with most manufacturing materials and processes from machining and fabrication to tooling and surface finishes. Knowing the process ensures my ability to contribute creative ideas that work.
I am a self-motivated team player with excellent problem solving skills. I have worked with multiple inner company departments and multi tasked various projects, often with conflicting tight deadlines to prioritize. Design within the guidelines of the Australian National Construction Code and Australian Standards (1428.1, access and mobility), (1657, fixed platforms, walkways, stairways and ladders), (1926.1, safety barriers for swimming pools).
Read and accurately interpret architectural/engineering drawings, specifications and design intent.
Using Solidworks software to 3d model parts and complex assemblies for the creation of detailed general arrangement, fabrication and installation drawings, including itemized cut lists and bill of materials. Submit drawings for approval by client and engineer.
Faro 3d laser scan operation, processing and post processing. Export usable geometry through Asbuilt modeler to Solidworks.
Hypertherm ProNest CNC plasma cutting operation and programing.
Design for folding, punching, perforating, rolling, and laser cutting of sheet goods and CNC routering of square hollow section.
