Irina Kaygorodova (Kayhodges)

I'm freelance Textile Print Designer and Illustrator for brand Ksenia Knyazeva (Moscow). As well I work with independent designers around the globe. I create and produce my own fabric collections under the label Land Kay, which focuses on beautiful watercolor prints and natural fabrics with an eco friendly approach. My uniqueness are sophisticated hand-drawn prints, where every single detail and color combination were carefully thought and became a result of hypnotic patterns.
Main skills:
sketching and drawing by hand; producing seasonal moodboards, creating concept for Capsule Collections, designing patterns and repeats, prints placement, specs, dimensional references and order placement for manufacturers

My recent collaborations were showcased at the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in Moscow last seasons and were featured on Vogue.com.

Creating all marketing materials: printing adverts, banners, posters, leaflets, fact-sheets, brochures, light boards and etc
Working with design for social media and other online platforms, landing pages, web.

Drawing Fashion Illustration with watercolour for magazines, book cover, fashion portraits, creating Textile Design and Prints for fashion designers, illustrations for web sites and adverts projects, calligraphy for logo and corporate identity, creating unique invitations and postcards for clients related with jewelry and fashion industry, and also watercolours for private collections.
Teaching of drawing "Fashion Illustration" and watercolour techniques.

Controlling all creative processes producing of magazine (editorial + advert) in Creative Team.

Controlling designer’s work, retouch, color corrections, tracking scans, pre-press and deadlines for editorial pages and advert;
Realisation creative editorial projects, coming up with ideas for adverts, photo sessions and styling for projects;
Statement tasks for photographers, stylists, models and assistants;

Responsible for advertising and presentation materials, designing showrooms for workshops and conferences, updating a web-site.
