About
I am a graphic designer currently working full time for Cosmopolitan Sri Lanka. The software I use to do all the artwork and graphics for the magazine includes: Adobe InDesign CC2017, Adobe Photoshop CC2017, Adobe Lightroom and Adobe Illustrator CC2017.
The magazine is released on a monthly basis. My duties at Cosmopolitan include art direction, graphic designing and finalizing the layouts for each issue. Adhering with global Hearst Communications Inc. standards, I handle the art direction aspect of the magazine's various shoots: cover story, fashion & beauty spreads, special features and brand advertorials. I also create the artwork for the content within the magazine and finalize the layout of the entire magazine according to Cosmopolitan guidelines.
With constant monthly deadlines behind the release of each issue, I believe my biggest strength is managing my time efficiently and my ability to multi-task. My work involves a lot of back and forth with our in-house editors and external brands. Coordination and communication with all stakeholders of Cosmopolitan Sri Lanka has always been smooth and hassle-free. -
