Gabe Ely

For nearly a decade, I have been employed at Palace Press International and ORO editions, which are award winning companies that publish and package books and gifts combining state of the art technology and lavishly produced products for prestigious clients worldwide.

Throughout my career I have been responsible for reporting directly to the creative director. Aside from assisting the director, I have been granted direct control over numerous projects. My roles have been multi-faceted as I have assisted with 3-D mockups for presentation, prepared print ready files, worked on image conversions and extensive Photoshop and Illustrator work. Furthermore, I have color corrected images for print and archiving, as well as prepared assets for e-book conversion and web ready format for both the official website and social media, and assisted in managing several asset libraries. In addition, I have had hands-on experience at the printing press and have overseen numerous print runs. Other duties included designing collateral materials, business cards and other marketing materials for marketing and sales departments.

As a premier publisher with clients such as Fentress Architects, Disney Press, Dreamworks, LucasFilm, amongst others, the projects I worked on were all extremely high-end with very demanding and rigorous approval processes.
