Janine Hunt

A specialist in soft product design, Janine Hunt leads a portfolio of Fashion Programmes at Northumbria University, responsible for the academic direction of Programmes in Fashion BA (Hons), Fashion Design and Marketing BA (Hons), Fashion Communication BA (Hons) and Performance Product Design MA. Her particular specialism addresses issues pertaining to Fashion and Product Design disciplines with reference to human centred issues; health, wellbeing, performance, protection, craftsmanship and authenticity. This cross- disciplinary approach forms part of a PhD by publication examining the nature of multifunctional capability and craftsmanship in advanced apparel.
