Jennifer Barnes

I have a passion for brand, design and production. Throughout my career I have accumulated wide range of experience working in a variety of industries from cookie dough fundraising, a major beverage company, a design house, to a Learning Management Solution (LMS). In my first job, which is way too old to put on my resume  I built phone books from cover to cover, even taking the photos that went on it. I enjoy creating something from concept to production, from the creative to the technical.

The first part of my career has been print focused with a small emphasis on web/digital and now over the past several years has shifted the other way to focus on web/digital with less focus on print. With this transition, I believe this makes me a well-rounded designer that can tackle most jobs at hand.

In my last position, I led a team of 2 - 4 people. Leading up to that position I completed an extensive Leadership Bootcamp & Critical Conversations Course. These classes helped empower me to lead in a more productive way. I really believe in the model of servant leadership, empowering and supporting people to success and creating trust and good communication. These classes also just helped me to be a more thoughtful, emotionally intelligent coworker. Whether I am a member of a team, lead a team or a solo act, I enjoy creating and designing.
