Shoe design
Hermes Heel is a student project from my time studying at Pratt Institute in Brooklyn NY. Crossing disciplines and taking a shoe class in the fashion department while studying industrial design really rounded out my skillset in pattern making and prototyping. My professor insisted I inject some of my more usual modeling materials from ID into this project and so metal hardware met leather for a shoe concept meant to transform from runway wild to everyday mild through removable wings. This project continues to inspire me to study and practice design in as many fields as I can so I may continue to grow my skill set and perspective.
