If you don’t mind, I’d like to tell you a bit about my professional journey as an artist. I am a Senior Graphic Designer with 20+ years of experience in the Children's Consumer Products and Toy Industry. The past seventeen years of my career were spent as a Nickelodeon Consumer Products Art Director and Sr. Designer, where I specialized in Toy Packaging and Promotions Marketing. Being a part of this company for so many years allowed me to design for multiple lines of business. Ventures ranged from apparel, packaged goods, publishing, recreation design, and point of purchase displays, through to a variety of brand creative guidelines.
Personally, I have a strong passion for all things whimsical, including illustration, photography, sewing, DiY projects and a love for editing in Photoshop. If the final outcome of the design makes someone smile, it is all worth it!

Senior Graphics/Packaging Designer & Art DirectorNickelodeon, Consumer Products/ToysNew York, NYJan 1999 - Mar 2016 (17 years 2 months)- Responsible for providing art direction from concept through to final production, on all domestic and international consumer products and packaging.
- Product development licensing experience for prominent Nickelodeon properties such as Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, SpongeBob, Dora the Explorer and many more.
- Developed promotional marketing materials, premiums and create solutions for key partners such as Toys R Us, Kellogg’s, Dannon, Kids Cuisine, Paramount Movies and Home Video, Walmart, Kraft, Burger King, McDonald’s, Wendy’s, KFC, Subway, Sbarro, Nickelodeon Hotel, Universal Studios, Mall of America,Singapore Airlines.
- Customized packaging and logos for major global toy partners such as Fisher Price and Mattel. Also responsible for creating presentations and decks for a variety of brand needs.
- Designed translated logos for a variety of Nickelodeon brands in a number of regions around the globe.

Graphic DesignerTahiti ApparelNew York, NYJan 1998 - Jan 1999 (1 year)- Designed character graphics for swimwear lines for licensors such as Disney, Warner Brothers and Sesame Street.
- Worked in tandem with the sales team to customize graphics for significant retailers such as Walmart and Target.
- Created boards, display units for in-store swim wear boutiques. -
Illustrator, Production Artist & Studio CoordinatorThe Stephen Lawrence CompanyMoonachie, NJSep 1996 - Jan 1998 (1 year 4 months)- Illustrated conceptual ideas through to final artwork. Approved designs were digitally rendered and applied to gift wrap, gift bags and additional stationary products.
- Constructed in-house advertisements for merchandise, including sell sheets for new products and special collections.
- Prepared stationery mechanical boards for engraving and printing vendors. Provisions included taking a stat of design, calculating the size & type of repeat pattern, color specifications, stripping instructions, credit line placement and generating overlays for art guidelines.
- Responsible for the organization and maintenance of studio archives, computer software,purchase orders and the company’s correspondence between all freelancers and licensed artists. Performed troubleshooting on studio computers. Assisted in the display of the company’s stationery show booth.
