This photos shows the Library Nook before the update. This furniture didn't invite socialization or collaboration.
Part of the Library renovation project was to use carpet squares. These square are quite practical because if one gets damaged, it can be replaced. While the cost is more initially, it saves money on maintenance and/or replacement in the long run.
This image shows three students working together on the Allsteel Linger Chairs and Allsteel Transfer Tables. Using ambidextrous side tables is a better option than tablet arm chairs because the left, right, or center orientation is up to the user.

This space was an outdated, under-used portion of the Daytona State College Library. The space is located in a high-traffic area and had a lot of potential. This gallery includes before and after photos.
