DAY-TO-DAY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Supervise and serve as a resource professional to the DSC-UCF Writing Center staff, including Learning Specialists, Faculty Volunteers, Writing Fellows, and Peer Tutors
• Develop and present workshop curriculum for various campus-wide initiatives
• Liaise with each Daytona State College department; attend all major meetings and exchange up-to-date information for academic support entities

• Create and give interactive presentations for Writing Center orientations
• Tutor students approximately 15 hours per week

• Help Writing Center Director plan and implement Writing Center outreach, tutor training, and virtual tutoring
• Assist with the Writing Center budget and anticipate how both staffing needs and material resources will vary between semesters and fiscal years
• Help to create and distribute annual usage reports
• Responsible for hiring student workers, including all front desk personnel and peer tutors
• Create student worker schedules each semester and arrange substitute coverage when necessary
