The Landing (Outdoor Space)
The Student Landing is a centrally located gathering area on the Daytona State College campus. I wanted to furnish this space with a variety of pieces that would align with the wide range of activities that happen on the DSC campus; furthermore, I wanted to invite new activities to happen. also wanted to create a "softer" space by incorporating furniture with rounded edges as well as lush greenery in a space that is otherwise angular and concrete. Incorporating the DSC colors, logo and mission statement were also proposed.
