This shoot was quite a challenge. We spent days planning out all the models/props etc. Don was up in a bucket with his camera, taking his time to compose the perfect shot. He even made sure the tire tracks on the ground looked just right!
This was our crew from the previous photo. One of the rare times drizzly grey weather totally worked to our advantage!
The big commercial trucks were not really my favorite but I love the big blue sky grill on this 650/750! Shot in a quarry in Arizona.
Working on this F-150 catalog was an intense experience. We spent a whole month on the west coast, capturing photos in various challenging locations. One of the coolest shots was of the truck catching air in the desert. We brought in a stunt driver for that one, and for once, we weren't concerned about potential damage to the truck, which is usually a big worry. The client was really set on getting an authentic shot of the truck baha-ing through the desert.

Ford Trucks

Working on Ford Truck catalogs presented a unique challenge: we needed to communicate a wealth of detailed information, focusing particularly on the trucks' capability and functionality.

Fold-outs were a great tool for presenting this information effectively, but budget constraints often limited their use.

My role encompassed overseeing everything from the initial layout and flow of the pages to directing all the location photography. I also coordinated the creation of each technical illustration or CGI component. These projects were among the most demanding I've worked on, often with tight deadlines.

For instance, the F-150 catalog required a month of photography on the west coast, while the Super Duty was shot locally. The latter presented its own set of challenges, including complex shots and numerous overcast days.

Having grown up with Ford Trucks, I always took pride in working on these projects. There will always be a bit of 'Built Ford Tough' spirit in my heart. :)
