I do not have the typical background experience you may expect to find with other interior designers. I received a degree in mechanical engineering and worked as an engineer for several years before enrolling in night classes to pursue a career change. I see my education and work experience as a tremendous asset. They have taught me problem solving, multi-tasking, time & project management skills, to name just a few, which are essential in any career.
