Huffy BMX Campaign launch. Reintroduction of Huffy back into the world of BMX! Collaboration with Marketing to support launching a new line of finely tuned Race and Freestyle bikes. The first stage was providing art direction on 3 premium prototype race bike designs that were created by hand and presented to the pro-riders on signing day. Followed quickly after with 2 Freestyle frames, 3 more Race frames, and 3 mass level complete bikes for D2C. Additional swag and promotional content developed to support the launch.
I visited the 2024 Eurobike trade show in Frankfurt Germany. I took over 800 photos, which I organized and reduced down to create this detailed 52 page report on color, style and product trends I observed at the show that our entire company used to develop new ideas and help communicate rationale behind design decisions.
Fashion, Product, and Design Trend Research. I oversaw and managed the team who collaborated to create the Huffy product Designer Expressions trend research in 2023 that was used to develop the 2025 product line of bicycles, scooters and battery ride-ones. The development included scouring specific relevant online resources, extended to quarterly retail visits, and incorporated paid WGSN research.
