•Stage set designer & engineer since 1972 in Industrials, Exhibits, Museums, Trade Show, Special Events, Rock'n'Roll (large indoor & outdoor events), Video & Film & other associated disciplines. Touring, one-off & permanent stages & sets, exhibits, environments and structures.
•Extensive knowledge of Tensile & Pneumatic, and fabric structures, their design, form & function, manufacture and erection procedures.
•Familiarity with computer interactivity, and mechanical controls & interfaces of sets & environments.
•Complete attention to detail from conception to opening night.
•Production management, 2D & 3D drafting & modeling, workshop & onsite build oversight, client skills, budgets & project politics a specialty.
•Seeking senior level design position, or freelance consultancy, in Special Event, Exhibit design or Production Co-ordination, steering large or complex projects from initial concept to the finest possible conclusion. -
