Responsible for the marketing, social media, promotional graphic design and general support at a boutique architecture and interiors firm. Also responsible for the visual direction and supervision of all architectural photo shoots, management of company website(s), design and creation of architectural project powerpoint presentations, editorial publication research and letters of submission. Additionally responsible for the e-commerce sales tracking/fulfill- ment, photography and product development for firms two subsidiary interior furnishing companies, as well as overseeing the hiring and management of student interns and freelance artisan collective staff. strong photoshop, Quark and ms office skills.

Hired by the Creative Director to assist with the re-design/re-launch of the Ladies’ Home Journal title. I was instrumental in developing the new visual direction of the magazine, through graphics as well as photography and worked to maintain this newly established standard of quality. Also responsible for design and layout of various features, hiring and negotiating illustrator contracts and fees, directing stylists and photographers on photo shoots, supervision of department designers, daily attendance of color correction shows and final approval of composed pages for shipping.

Working under the guidance of the Creative Director, I was instrumental in setting and ultimately maintaining the design personality and standards of Rosie magazine, from initial launch through eventual redesign. Responsible for monthly design and layout of various features, singles and covers; assigning spot art/illustration, daily attendance of page/cover color correction shows as well as art direction at a variety of photo shoots.

Responsibilities included monthly design and layout of both departments and features within each issue, assigning spot art/illustration for various stories as well as initial production and routing of assigned stories. Additional duties included trafficking chromes between art and production/prepress departments.

Responsible for the overall art direction, interior and cover design, photo editing and layout of various decorating and gardening books. Also responsible for color correction, file output and combined page approvals.

General art production administration responsibilities including prepping electronic layouts, scanning art for placement, trafficking pages through production process, updating approved pages and shipping 4C and electronic files.
