Bachelor of Science with a Minor in Business Industrial Design
San José State University of California
2005 - 2009
After gaining experience working for Lifestyle Design in Santa Barbara, I began my Industrial Design and Business studies at San Jose State University. I chose SJSU for it's excellent industrial design legacy and proximity to the SF Bay Area design culture. At SJSU, I learned from entrepreneurial professors and skilled colleagues and was able to network with the world's leading designers at the multitude of design events.
Year Abroad Industrial Design
Fachhochschule Darmstadt, Germany
2007 - 2007
In 2007, I studied abroad in Darmstadt, Germany. I worked on sponsored projects with Braun and Zumtobel as well as taking other industrial design and German courses.
Bachelor of Science Chemistry
University of California at Santa Barbara
2000 - 2004
After graduating high school I began my studies in Electrical Engineering at UCSB in hopes of one day taking over my father's telecom infrastructure design company. Along the way I enjoyed learning a variety of subjects, one of which was Industrial Design. UCSB did not have an Industrial Design department or degree so I transferred to Chemistry (another subject I enjoyed) to earn my Bachelor's degree before pursuing a career in Industrial Design.
