Part time/ freelance : Estee Lauder 8/2009 – Jan 2014
I provided photography, retouching, 5x7 printing and an email copy of head shot portraits for makeover customers during Estee Lauder's "Your Style" events in the Chicago area I was the exclusive provider in the Chicago area servicing about 20-30 events per year.

Set up and operated in house photo studio and website in partnership with Arrowsmith Shoes
Produce original product, fashion photography and graphics for website and print ads. Product listing creation using Modern Retail proprietary CMS system, populating listing with photos and occasional copy writing. Occasionally contracted to provide creative direction to freelance video production staff and social media writers.

Produced original on and off figure fashion photography and graphics for website and print ads. Extensive image editing (pen tool, layers and color correction/color matching.

* Started as freelance photographer offered Staff Photographer position within 9 months of initial booking. * Promoted to Lead Photographer in response to my attention to detail while working with Klein Tools. * American Color was primarily a pre-press company and I was given the opportunity to hone my outlining skills via the pen tool in PhotoShop while the studio experienced down time. Worked with 4x5 Sinar and 6x6 Hasselblad Cameras utilizing Mega-vision digital backs (T2, T32, S2, S3) and Speedotron strobe. Primary responsibilities included the composition and lighting of products on either a background or within a realistic room scene environment under the creative direction of the Photo Director or client. Other responsibilities included insuring that all sets met the requirements of both the client and the set decorator in addition to supervising the prompt delivery and return of prop furniture and products from our merchandise department. Managed up to four freelance photographers two assistants and one set decorator while responsible for a second shift during a period of high volume. Clients include: Jewel Foods, Amway, Service Merchandise, Fisher Scientific, Walgreen*s, Grainger Industrial Supply, Harlem Furniture, JC Whitney, Klein Tools, Swiss Colony, European Imports, Marks and Whetstone Advertising and Stevens Design.
