Reebok Basketball SS14 (2012)

during my apprenticeship at Reebok in 2012, I always hounded the older designers working in the categories I liked the most to try and get myself involved in any aspects of the business that I could. Eventually the Basketball team threw me a bone and let me design their sell-sheets used for the Global Branding Conference where the SS14 line was presented to the global markets.

I used a lo-fi approach for the custom typography, photocopying white-out pen doodles and electrical tape to develop my own take the gritty feel that is synonymous with the rough and tumble style that Reebok Classics basketball program is built on.

I also dug through archived press photos, snapped screenshots of vintage TV ads, and scanned vintage garments to show examples of how the attitude of Reebok has carried from the 80's into today.
