Fruit Boost Design Project - Working as a beach lifeguard opened my eyes to how severe the obesity problem is in England. In areas where childhood obesity is high Jamie Oliver's healthy menu is being rejected and 'junkfood' packed lunches are the source of poor dietry habits. Many children do not eat any fruit at all. 'Fruit Boost' aims to change younger children's perceptions of what they eat by creating an exciting and empowering learning experience that lets them design and make their own smoothies from scratch.
