Hellisheiði Station

A homebrew personal project that once was a big set piece I had designed for Tron : Ares film, however all the previs went to Sweden w director so work was never finished (or even seen by Art Dept). I repurposed my set for a personal project. A collection of three industrial installations set in Crimea, Ukraine, and Iceland. The latter, Station 1, utilizes the massive geothermal energy capability of the geothermal plant in Hellisheiði. The other structure shown in the latter half of this series was an older residence purchased by the energy company and refurbished to serve as the concierge reception & viewing area for clientele using the installations.

Fully rigged for animation using Maya and rendered using Arnold mGPU.
