About
I am John Uthradam (John K Samuel) , a professional artist, illustrator and musician who believes in pure love and respect for others. Born in Thiruvalla, Kerala, I graduated in science and later obtained National diploma in Art and also a degree in Commercial Art. I was trained in Karnatic Music from Late Shri. Shanmugham Bhagavathar, Thyagaraja School of Music. It was my father, late CD Samuel, who initiated me into the world of art and music. Once he was awarded a prestigious prize by His Highness Padmanabha Dasa Sri Chithira Thirunal Balarama Varma Maharaja for his excellence in playing the Musical instrument, ‘Jalatharanga’.
I believe Humanity is the religion. Where there is love, peace, mercy ,justice and truth there is God. And I dream of a world where there is total amity among people so that the world becomes a better place for everyone without fights and quarrels. I love to spread this message through my creations. Though I concentrated only on realistic works, I have now changed to surrealism, abstract and new approaches. -
