Led fit session corrections, design tech pack handoffs, hardware tech pack handoffs, liason between merchandising/sales and heads of design, as well as style name/numbering system for seasons.

This was done on the 4 season calendar for main collection, outlet, and capsule collections.

Create original design concepts and brand identities for start ups as well as established fashion houses. Taking ideas from sketches to commercially produced products that integrated my original concepts with consumer data when available. My process involves trend research, hand drawings, computer renderings, material/reference shopping, culling data from sales/buyers, communicating with sample rooms, and presentations for design partners and sales partners. Any necessary changes or CAD renderings to ensure successful design development. Experience with mens, womens, and childrens shoes across a variety of constructions.

Travel to China to visit factories, material suppliers, material markets, sample rooms, mills, tanneries, and production lines. I have extensive experience in product development, rapid prototype models, and manufacturing: sculpting last shapes, modifying models off blueprints or 3D models, fine metal and rubber details, midsole and sole unit development (rubber, EVA, injection EVA, TPR, etc), sock liners, and fabric development. I led development from design concepts to commercially manufactured products. Coordinating with sales or marketing managers for any necessary product changes when buyer feedback was available about consumer preferences.

My experience is paired with 15 years of design development with factory managers, sample room technicians, and engineering teams in deadline driven production environments. I have coached and influenced our development team members to produce excellent results in a variety of factories and shoe constructions. I used data driven research for development problem solving and to determine strategic design direction when process changes were needed.
