Jonathan Erne

As an industrial Designer I revel in my individualistic approach when undertaking any task at hand. My design style is very minimalist and clean. My designs have no superfluous elements, they are sleek and modern. I also have an interest in organic shapes and structures which is evident in many of my designs. I draw most of my inspiration from nature, other designers and architects as well as from art. When creating my designs i prefer to make use of natural materials in a simplistic manner to emphasise the nature of the material. Being environmentally conscious i look to use sustainable materials in my work.

I take great pleasure in the refinement of my crafting skills and i am adept at producing well defined products. Above and beyond the previously mentioned designing socially sustainable solutions is one of my great interests and i look to design products that are long lasting rather than designing for obsolescence.
