Jon Buckley Illustration is where art, design, and motion graphics do the Charleston together. Specializing in sharp editorial work and modern takes on those bouncy 1920s rubber-hose characters, Jon’s creations bring wit and warmth to publishing, branding, and licensing projects that need a grin, a wink, or a bit of old-school sparkle.

Through graphic design, illustration and motion graphics, this key role ensures the design and production of professional, high-quality content across a wide variety of communication channels and campaigns, digital and physical, in support of LPL Financial’s overall business goals.

Design lead for the Deliverable Excellence Center (DEC), a boutique digital agency internal to PwC. We help convey vibrant stories through documents, presentations and other channels, creating compelling materials that resonate with target audiences. Our growing team of designers provides graphic solutions for internal staff as well as working on a wide variety of design and communication projects for the nation’s largest brands.

Responsible for communicating strategic goals into actionable design solutions, establishing the conceptual and stylistic direction for graphic design, user experience, video and multimedia staff. Orchestrating the work of 3 creative managers (Graphic Design, UX Design and Multimedia Design) and overseeing a total staff of 12. Areas of responsibility include: advertising, branding, communications, environmental design, graphics, interaction, motion, presentation, promotions and video for print, digital, event, television, web and app. Responsible for supervision and administration while continuing to produce creative output as a designer and motion graphics artist. My role ensures the right resources are in place, from designers to developers, so that the communications created are visually compelling and able to drive revenues.
