This kit is for teacher demonstration purposes. I worked with Product Development to create demonstration sized manipulatives that were color coded to match existing product lines. Created a schedule, hired production artists, photographers, and researched new techniques to meet timeline and stay within budget for all 6 grades.
Art directed layout of covers, the numbers in grades K–2 have hands (younger looking), and the numbers in grades 3–5 don't. The math problems are aligned to the strategies they are learning in that grade.
I created InDesign and Excel templates to allow the production artist to pour an entire 64-page book in seconds using DataMerge on the first round. Used InCopy for text editing and a PDF workflow for image changes. Created art templates in Illustrator, and documentation in InDesign, for seamless creation of over 190 images per book.

The Centers are for student exploration, Grades K–5. The design and production of the centers was started after the first round of the Kits were done for each grade. I worked with Product Development on timeline to reduce duplicate revisions.

Product Development—Daily Math Fluency Grades K–5
Created and art directed overall look for entire product line for both the Kits and Centers. Worked with Product Development on packaging recommendations, paper weights/types, photoshoots, and project timeline. Hired freelancers to work with lead designer, providing training if needed. Researched and self-taught DataMerge, creating page templates and artwork workflows for seamless production to meet tight deadlines and budget restraints. Taught editors and writers how to use InCopy our image database, and proper PDF mark-up for quicker and more accurate revisions.
