Created dynamic cover design using layers for each version (Comon Core, National, and TEKS), allowing universal content to be on its own layer for ease of updating and version control. Hired models, and directed photoshoot for all covers of each grade.
There were 3–5 sections in each book. Each section was a different color, and had an intro spread. I created layout and all icons.
Each lesson was 4 pages with some having an "ExplorAction" at the end. Created book-map and InCopy pages for writers to write directly into the document on first pour. The standards were on their own layer, which would be turned off or on depending on what book was being reviewed. All mini pages were routed as separate PDFs simultaneously with Teacher Guide, allowing all pages to be reviewed/edited at once. All minis are linked InDesign pages preventing version control and eliminating additional steps to create and update art.
Each book had Blackline Master pages. They had to be easily reproducible using a school photocopier. All pages must be black and white using student appropriate fonts and sizes based on grade.

Product Development—Hands-On Standards Fractions Teacher Guide
Hands-On Standards® Fractions Grade 3 Teacher Guide, one of 3 grades in this series, Grades 3–5. There were multiple versions of this series using layers for each variation; Common Core, Non-Common Core, and TEKS aligned. I created and presented concepts for all pieces; did final templates, artwork, directed photography, and hired production artists to pour. Reviewed all rounds, and sent final PDFs to printer. Books were created in InDesign, using InCopy to edit, and supporting graphics were created in Illustrator and photoshop.
