Julie Pahnke

Starting humbly as a volunteer G.E.D. Tutor, I soon was introduced to the Director of Development and, with their knowledge of my current graduate studies, I began volunteer interning under the Development Director’s wing. I assisted with anything from constituent relations to event planning to eventually joining their Development and Fundraising Committee.

This position, although temporary, has been both crucial and industrious. Thus far my tenure has covered the implementation and execution of Highland’s beginning fiscal fundraising and marketing plans. Including directing and implementing their Fall Annual Appeal & Parent Annual Fund, management of all communication activities for the beginning of the school year, and the complete organization & direction of Highland’s first annual Craft Beer Tasting Fundraiser. This has all been in conjunction with database management, financial tracking, and co-chairing the Fund Development Committee.

Originally starting as an Order Management Coordinator, I soon was promoted to Project Coordinator and again to Associate Project Manager. I work closely with the senior project management team coordinating large scale interior and exterior sign packages including, but not limited to, hospital complexes, cross country corporate rebranding, and financial institutes. I assist with multi-site strategic planning, ranging from design and pricing approvals, city permitting policy & procedures, and sub-contractor install coordination all while maintaining healthy vendor and customer relationships.
