Design thinking and its related tools and methods of research have become essential in many companies today that seek to create disruptive change, but who find that old operational models lead only to incremental change. The course at IDEO took students through the early phases of the innovation process with an emphasis on design research methods-from framing an initial challenge, to inspiration, to insights, to synthesis, to ideas and concepts. Its primary focus is on working through the key transitions between articulating needs and designing the solutions that answer them.

Participated on wide range of projects including packaging, furniture, and lighting designs for number of companies. Projects were done with ideation sketches, 3D CAD renderings, and model making.
Concept developing for National Corporate Innovation Fair

Objective was to develop a family of 3 innovative packages for an advanced skincare line, specifically for RX/Clinical care products. Works included research, concept development, model making, CAD renderings, and a presentation at L’Oreal Corporate.

Assisting students and professors with materials and tools, managing work shop machines, and helping students with model making.

Researched current market technologies on computers, cell phones, and multimedia players and the user interface designs. Participated in Google Wave based computer program for cell phones, IPTV UI, and cell phone UI concepts, starting from research to the final designs.
