IDEO
Sep 2013 - Dec 2013 (3 months)
Design thinking and its related tools and methods of research have become essential in many companies today that seek to create disruptive change, but who find that old operational models lead only to incremental change. The course at IDEO took students through the early phases of the innovation process with an emphasis on design research methods-from framing an initial challenge, to inspiration, to insights, to synthesis, to ideas and concepts. Its primary focus is on working through the key transitions between articulating needs and designing the solutions that answer them.
