    For the past seven years, Justin Lau has designed lighter, stronger, more mobile equipment at Warrior Hockey. From building gloves and pants in the factory to designing complete product lines, his work is found in arenas around the world and is the choice of players at the elite levels of the game, including 12 out of 30 NHL Captains and numerous Olympians.

      • Work collaboratively with Hockey R&D team to design and create up to 25 technical products per season from initial concept to floor across 9 categories, including shoulder, elbow, and shin pads, gloves, pants, sticks, technical apparel and bags.

      • Build working prototypes (patterns and cutting, sewing, assembly), design techpacks, and sample modification packages outlining graphic and product design, tooling and molds, and material specifications to deliver professional finished goods.

      • Attend trade shows, visit overseas suppliers and vendors, engage in market research, and analyze comparable industries to build knowledge of new fabrics, current trends, processes, and technologies for use in product innovation.

      • Maintain relationships with internal team (Designers, Developers, Engineers, Sales, Business Unit Directors), overseas vendors and high performance athletes to ensure products meet performance goals, price points, marketing needs and creation timelines.
