Managed the design and production of international Valiant brand comic books and comic related material, print, social and on-line. These included the layout of weekly interior pages, in-house advertisements, comic book covers, and minor color/lettering corrections. The design team was tasked with exporting as many as 7 books per month, paying close attention to detail in the production process to create final print-ready files. Additional responsibilities included the design of P.O.P. items, national convention displays and graphics, in-store promotions, advertising, on-line promotions and monthly periodicals.

Responsible for creating multiple print ads, promotions, billboards, brochures, catalogs, e-blasts, training guides and sales & marketing material. Implemented strong time management skills to promote the international Benjamin Moore Paints brand, all within tight production deadlines.

Worked closely with team of production associates – including Design and Production Managers, Editorial/Quality Control, as well as external vendors and printers – to produce high-end catalogs, brochures and promotional material for clients of their SWEETS Construction Group.

Produced design and layout of all in-house collateral material for the purpose of promoting WIZARD’s four annual conventions, circulation of their monthly publications (WIZARD: The Comics Magazine, ToyFare, Animé Insider and InQuest) and their exclusive books and products. Additional projects included magazine advertisements, promotional posters, displays, signage, tickets, badges, programs and T-shirt graphics.

Specialized in publication design and layout, development of communication graphics, logo design and production of promotional materials including trade marketing kits, brochures, direct mail pieces, advertising and packaging as well as on-press approvals. As Senior Art Director, assisted V.P. of Creative Services as well as oversaw small staff of Art Directors and Layout Artists. Responsibilities included design and production of national accounts for such entertainment corporations as DIRECTV, Encore Media Group, Showtime Networks, Time Warner Cable of New York, Cablevision
and companies such as GKN Securities, Medical Communication Resources (MCR) and
National Basketball Association.

Created and designed editorial layouts, columns and advertisements for publications including Woman’s World Weekly and FIRST For Women. Participated on a team of seven to eight designers and worked closely with Art Directors, Photo Editors, Production and Editorial staff under extremely tight (weekly) deadlines.
