I am very sensible and passionate about everything that involves creativity: art, architecture and design. I am well aware of how incredible it is to be able to shape the places of our imaginary, the future of our cities and the spaces where we live, the objects that we use, everyday.

Kali ArchitectureFreelance Artist & ArchitectUnited Kingdom2015 - 2021 (6 years)I started working freelance around 2015 and from that I had the opportunity to develop some architectural work. I find it very challenging and interesting to undertake my own projects and I am open and motivated to accept new future challenges. I have also developed small personal art projects and social manifests in parallel, mainly concerning intervention, abstraction, photograph, video, writing, music composition and improvisation.

Intermediate ArchitectPorto, Portugal2017 - 2017I joined Studio Stoa for a collaboration in designing the main project they had at hands, a Hotel in Porto. It is amongst the best hotels to stay at the Unesco worldwide heritage downtown of the city. I had the opportunity to work on its execution project designing technical, detailed and furniture drawings. I had influence on some interesting decisions and improvements of its overall design project. I have also worked on the project of this Dentist Clinic, in Marco de Canaveses, Portugal, doing several of its execution drawings. Since it was already under construction I accompanied a visit to the construction site to supervise the work's state. It was interesting to understand the many requirements a health program like this demands and to observe the way we were able to solve them throughout the project.

Front of HousePorto, Portugal2011 - 2017 (6 years)The most relevant earlier set work I experienced while studying at the uni was in the main concert hall of Porto, where I come from: the House of Music Foundation. The cultural program’s erudition I was privileged to assist and attend added significant value to my education. The equipment is a public cultural building, projected by the architect Rem Koolhas and his studio OMA in 2005. This opportunity has allowed me to gather unique social, personal and professional skills.

Intermediate ArchitectPorto, Portugal2016 - 2016I was pleased to be invited by a colleague, José Almeida, for a collaboration with his architectural atelier. We participated in a competition for the Council of Mangualde, in Portugal, for the rehabilitation project of its now abandoned Cine-theatre. The project moved forward and is now going to be constructed. My work consisted of the thought, design and model construction processes of the project concept. This is a cultural public heritage building and an icon of Portuguese modern architecture, designed by the illustrious architect Francisco Keil do Amaral in 1947-48.

Intern Junior & Intermediate ArchitectPorto, Portugal2013 - 2015 (2 years)The knowledge I gathered through this time is one of the major influences of my architectural thought process, in terms of doing real life architecture projects with a high standard of exigency, quality and creativity. The job at the studio allowed me a direct contact with the reality of a project, from housing and cultural equipment projects to space intervention and art installation, which gave continuity to my apprenticeship. I started working here early in my career as a dissertation student and this internship has made up a remarkably worth experimental period of contact with the extra scholar reality. All happened due to a necessity and curiosity of mine for discovering the professional world and work with architects to complement questions, doubts, motivations e inquietudes regarding the area. The studio is a small structure which has placed me in a privileged position in terms of direct contact with the projects and additional responsibilities and experience.
