Originally from Trenton, New Jersey, Kasia Sweeny is a furniture design student at Appalachian State University. She is a recipient of the Celia Moh and AHFA Scholarships, and was selected to attend the WITHIT conference in June 2016. She has also received a first place award at Design Emphasis, a student competition hosted by IWF in Atlanta.
