Kathos Wong

Born and raised in Hong Kong, this overcrowded city is not exactly the best place to grow up but it is a special place, people are literally living on top of each other, with so many people, each with their own stories, all gathered here and with its unique history, you get to see and experience a lot of things that is probably unique to other places, and it definitely has its influence on me and the way I see things.

A few years working in the footwear industry, I’ve been learning way more than I could ever pick up from traditional school and I enjoy the process, it’s not always easy but it’s how I picture “DESIGN” to be, experimenting, getting your hands dirty, making a difference and most important of all, enjoying the process of creation. And recent years, I started exploring more than just designing but what footwear as a product can evolve and make a difference. I can say I genuinely enjoy what I do and my name is Kathos.
