About
I love a great print...one which catches the eye, keeps it moving from one element to the next, speaks to a feeling, place, lifestyle --- a print with an identity. But an identity that doesn't steal the show. Prints are meant to enhance. And I love designing prints. I love the challenge, the process, the transformation, and the final outcome.
All my prints begin from scratch with pen and paper, hand illustrations, paitings, markings, and photographs. Once its on paper I swap it onto the computer and start designing away creating repeat patterns, playing with color options, scale, and layout. And before you know it, a new print design is created.
I'm born and raised on the island of Oahu. I got my first taste of print design while studying abroad in Florence, Italy and quenched that passion after graduating University and moving to Australia working for companies such as Spell and Karolina York. I love to travel and I love to design, so put those two together and out comes --- freelance designer.
