Relatively new to digital graphics, I bring to the table a wealth of knowledge about book illustration, with my own novella being published this Summer. Having owned, designed and operated a large Gothic bed & breakfast for sixteen years has given me a distinct sense of textures, lighting effects and textiles; and my New York years as printmaking instructor, exhibit coordinator and painting consultant have honed my craft. The past eighteen months have been spent in the pursuit of digital skills (Adobe Cloud), as well as oil painting on canvas.
I was awarded a Revson Grant in 1984, through the Art Students League, for the production of an artist book entitled, "The Tres Riches Heures" (honoring the medieval Limbourgh Brothers work), which allowed me to work unencumbered for a year.
