For the Commercial Graphics program at PItt State, it was centered heavily on both the design and production aspects of the field. The majority of the classes required students to initially design and create all of their work, and then follow through with the actual production of the physical items. We were also fortunate enough to have access to a several different print and digital production methods including: offset printing, flexography, digital printing, screen printing, and website design/production. Our curriculum also included a number of business classes, intended to help students connect the technical education with real-world business practices. I graduated Summa Cum Laude from Pitt State in 2014.
