Kevin Melone

Kevin Melone is an illustration major at the American Academy of Art in the heart of Chicago. He found the woodcarvings of renaissance artists fascinating from a young age. He was inspired by the complexity and precision within the engravings, and he strives to bring this intensity out in his own art. Kevin works mostly in pen and ink, lining the page with precise strokes. Set to graduate in Spring of 2018, Kevin hopes to work as an illustrator and create books showcasing his art.
